This striking 1970s Porsche racing advertisement features the legendary Porsche 917, one of the most dominant sports-prototype race cars ever built. Known for its incredible speed and aerodynamic design, the 917 helped cement Porsche’s reputation in endurance and Can-Am racing during the early 1970s.
The dramatic black-and-white illustration shows the race car under the shadow of a racing helmet, capturing the intensity and danger of professional motorsports. With bold **Sunoco sponsorship and Audi branding, the ad reflects the era when Porsche engineering and racing innovation were pushing the limits of performance.
