The 1981 GMC pickup—a true workhorse with a Squarebody design that’s as rugged as it is iconic. This original vintage print ad captures the essence of GMC’s legendary durability, featuring a two-tone GMC pickup in the foreground and a GMC General big rig in the background, reinforcing the brand’s legacy of building trucks that get the job done.
By 1981, GMC trucks were stronger and more capable than ever, with a reinforced frame, improved suspension, and powerful V8 options. This ad’s tagline, “The pickup is new. What the name stands for isn’t,” says it all—GMC had been building tough, no-nonsense trucks for decades. The Squarebody era cemented GMC’s reputation, and today, these trucks remain favorites among restorers, collectors, and classic truck enthusiasts.
A must-have for Squarebody lovers, GMC fans, and truck collectors, this framed print brings classic truck heritage to any garage, office, or man cave.
📌 Note: As an original vintage print, minor centerline marks or staple holes may be present, adding to its authentic character.

I absolutely love it. Wrapped and packaged super well. Wasn't nothing getting through that! Probably one of the top items that I've bought online. Hard to choose sometimes since you can't visualize it in real time.
