This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS “Super Scoop” framed vintage ad captures one of the most memorable pieces of late-1960s muscle car advertising. Featuring the striking green Camaro SS and Chevrolet’s famous “insert foot… open mouth” performance tagline, this two-page centerfold advertisement perfectly reflects the confidence and excitement of the muscle car era.
Taken from an original 1969 magazine centerfold, this large-format print highlights the Camaro’s aggressive styling and the distinctive SS hood scoop that gave the car both its look and its reputation for performance. Advertisements like this helped cement the Camaro’s place in the muscle car wars of the late 1960s.
This isn’t just a flimsy magazine page tossed in a frame. The original two-page centerfold has been carefully aligned and professionally dry-mounted, creating a smooth, wrinkle-free presentation while preserving the authenticity collectors appreciate. As expected with a genuine vintage centerfold, there may be faint staple marks and a subtle centerline, small reminders of its history.
The print is finished in a modern matte black frame and protected with UV-resistant acrylic, giving the piece a clean presentation while protecting it for long-term display. With an overall framed size of approximately 17 x 24 inches, this Camaro print has real wall presence—perfect for a garage, office, man cave, or classic car collection.
Whether you're a Camaro enthusiast or simply appreciate the bold style of late-60s automotive advertising, this piece is a standout example of vintage Chevrolet muscle car memorabilia.
