This original 1968 Volkswagen Beetle ad features one of the most recognizable moments in VW history—“Our car the movie star.” With its oversized green sunglasses and simple studio backdrop, this ad helped introduce the world to what would soon become The Love Bug.
It’s a fun mix of automotive history and pop culture, capturing the moment when the Beetle became more than just a car—it became a personality.
✔ Original 1968 Magazine Ad
An authentic vintage print, not a reproduction—over 50 years old with natural character from age.

✔ Matting Included
Finished with a clean white mat that enhances the image and makes it ready to display or fit a standard frame.
✔ Overall Size: 14" x 17"

I absolutely love it. Wrapped and packaged super well. Wasn't nothing getting through that! Probably one of the top items that I've bought online. Hard to choose sometimes since you can't visualize it in real time.
Great print. Love the colors. Will fit in an ongoing remodel of family room. Excellent print/product. Arrived in fine shape. Thank you. Looks even better displayed in person. Perfect addition to our family room.
The artwork exceeded my expectations. The colors are rich, the frame feels substantial, and everything arrived ready to hang.
